What are the odds. Vegas couldn’t calculate them.
Now, Ruth. This attack was BRUTAL. And real talk: this is every woman’s fear. I feel for her with my whole thriller‑loving soul. How do you ever feel safe again after a near‑fatal attack and the guy is still out there living his mediocre little life. I’m not entirely sure how her storyline ties into Amanda and Wendy’s, but as the person who reads thrillers like they’re oxygen, I know these plotlines are going to collide eventually — like a car crash you absolutely should look away from but absolutely do not. The buildup is deliciously tense.
